This bucket wheel suction dredger was built in Korea in 1995 to an O&K design. Instead of a cutter head, a rotating bucket wheel loosens the soil before it is pumped away. The dredger measures 85.00 x 19.00 m, has a 950/900 mm pipe diameter and dredges to 30 m. Two inboard pumps of 4,000 kW each are installed, with a total installed power of approx. 14,400 kW, 45 m spuds and a 6 m spud carriage stroke.
